BOOK DELIVERY SERVICE
We are expanding our successful book delivery service for people who can not get
to the library. If you know someone who would like books brought once or twice a
month, leave their name & phone number with our staff and we will have a
volunteer contact them about their reading interests and set up a delivery
schedule.
FRIENDS

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR
The Friends of the Fiske will host a Scholastic
Book Fair on May 21-23 during Library hours. The Fair will feature specially
priced children’s and young adult books including newly released works,
award-winning titles, children’s classics and current bestsellers. The Book Fair
brings families together within the community to celebrate reading and learning.
Parents, grandparents, children and the community in general are invited. Book
Fair proceeds will be used to purchase new books for the Children’s Room. The
past book fairs have each raised over $1000. Volunteers are needed to help set
up, staff and clean-up this event and a sign-up sheet is available at the
front desk.

The next foreign films will be shown on Wed.,
May 28 and Wed. June 25 at 7PM. The May film is titled The Violin and is
a Mexican import with English subtitles.
Thank you to the Friends for sponsoring the program.
