THANKSGIVING FAMILY PROGRAM

Celebrate Thanksgiving with Oracle Award winning storyteller Diane Edgecomb and her participatory storytelling program STONE SOUP! AND OTHER HEARTWARMING TALES.
WHEN : Friday, Nov. 24
TIME : 1:30PM

Diane Edgecomb brings "Stone Soup" to Fiske Public Library. Building community is more fun than ever when seen through the eyes of stories and songs from cultures around the world. These inclusive tales show us how sweet it is when everyone contributes, right down to the tiniest Bee! Diane’s full-out entertainment has audience volunteers taking part: learning a Chinese crane dance in the legend of the Lord of the Cranes, singing in many languages, and working together to make a huge pot of Stone Soup in Diane’s unusual re-telling of this classic story. Diane has been a library favorite for over twenty years.
Join us to experience the wonder and build a better community one story at a
time!
Tickets available at the circulation desk or call 508-384-5440.  Program is free but please help us fill up our giant pot with canned-good donations for the Wrentham Food Pantry.  Make an estimate as to the weight of the food donated.  Prizes for the 3 who make the closest estimates!  This program is supported with a grant from the SWEATT FUND.
