The Friends of the Fiske are working on a fundraiser to benefit the library. If we can get just 50 people who have accounts at TDBank to call the bank (508-384-8400) and mention the Friends as an affiliate (Use their code #A1204), the Friends will get a credit of $500 and it will allow them to raise the funds to offer more programs for us. It takes just a minute and does not affect your account in any way.
You can call yourself or simply sign the bottom of the forms that will be available at the circulation desk and we will deliver the form to the bank for you.   Thanks, as always!!
NOTE : If you are planning to open a TDBank account or transfer your account to them from another bank, mention of the Friends (#A1204) will work too.

Passports
The U.S. Dept. of State has just informed us of a proposed increase in PASSPORT FEES. There is no date as to when this increase will happen but if you are planning on getting passports consider doing it now. Once it goes into effect an Adult Passport Book will cost $110 and a Minor Passport Book (under 16) will cost $80 plus the $25 processing fee per application. The Passport Card will cost $30 for Adults and $15 for Minors. Call the library, ext. 14 for an appointment.
 

Travel Club
WHEN : Wed. March 17

Travelers!! Have you been on a great trip and would like to share your photos? Our newly formed Travel Club would love to see them. We'd be happy to scan your pictures so we can show them to the group. It will be fun to see and hear where your neighbors have been.  There will be occasional talks by different travel companies who can give you suggestions based on their experience (no selling). It will be mostly fun to see and hear where your neighbors have been. Sessions will be moderated by Valerie Schensnol of King Philip Travel. Refreshments will be served. Yoga Classes
WHEN : Thursdays
TIME : 9:30-10:45AM

Next session begins March 18.  Additional classes will be held March 25, April 1, 8, 15, and 22.  
The class is limited to 15 students. Sign-up at the front desk.

Prepayment of $65 is due at the time of sign-up.

 

Earth Day Crafts
WHEN : Saturday April 17
TIME : 12:00-2:30

All ages are welcome to drop in to the Children's Program Room anytime between 12-2:30 to make a hummingbird feeder, painted flowerpot, or a Cheerio Bird Feeder.
