IMAGINATION PLAYGROUND


Stop in to build with the Giant Blue Blocks in the Imagination Playground in the children's program room during regular library hours. Stop at the circulation desk to sign into the room. This Indoor Playground is supported with funds from THE FRIENDS OF FISKE.

A new 6 week session begins December 5 and continues December 12, 19, January 2, 9 and 16 with a makeup session on January 23. The cost will be $48 and will be due at signup.

Sam Ducharme
Hiking the Appalachian Trail
WHEN : Thursday November 8
TIME : 6:30-8:00PM


Join Sam Ducharme and learn about his 2180 mile 14-state backpacking trip from Georgia to Mt. Katahdin. He will talk about the rugged beauty, as well as the hardships.  See his gear, how he cooked and what it’s like to sleep in a hammock for six months.  His photo presentation and stories are most amusing and informative.  Sign up after Nov.1 at the circulation desk or by calling 508-384-5440.

Ed Popielarczyk's Comedy Magic Show
WHEN: Friday, November 23rd
TIME : 1:30pm
AGES : 3 and UP


Ed Popielarczyk is a professional magician, balloon sculptor, flea circus ringmaster, and storyteller. He has been entertaining children and family audiences for over twenty-five years.
His magic show is a comedy show that uses a lot of audience participation. The kids are the stars because they make the magic happen. He usually has lots of trouble! He doesn't just “do a trick” he tells a story that revolves around each trick. It may be a short story or a longer one, but each story helps to bring the trick together. Every child who comes on “stage” to be a helper receives a souvenir!
Tickets available at the circulation desk.  Program is free but canned-good donations will be gratefully accepted for the Wrentham Food Pantry.
