Friday, February 7, 2020 (snow date Saturday, Feb. 8th)
6:00 – 7:30PM

Harry Potter fans of all ages are invited to join us for an evening of fun and games. You will be greeted by Dumbledore himself and have the opportunity to be photographed with him. Come play "Harry Potter Bingo" and win creepy prizes, play a game of "Muggle Quidditch", have a snack at the Leaky Cauldron, sit in on a potions class held by King Philip High School science students, watch a magic show, have your fortune told, watch a game of wizard chess run by the chess club and create a Creepy Creature mask

Children and adults are encouraged to come to the party dressed as your favorite character from the popular books. "This exciting event gives new and existing fans a chance to share the wonder of J.K. Rowling's unforgettable stories and, most excitingly, to introduce the next generation of readers to the unparalleled magic of Harry Potter. You are hereby invited to embrace the magic and banish the winter blues!"

Sign up at the circulation desk or call 508-384-5440.
This program is free but canned-good "muggle food" donations will be gratefully accepted for the Wrentham Food Pantry.
Prizes and refreshments provided by the Friends of the Fiske.

We would love donations of finger-food snacks, bottles of Sprite, jelly beans, gummy worms and sherbet for the Leaky Cauldron.  There is a sign up sheet for this and also for adult and teen volunteers at the circulation desk.  Unable to come to the party but would like to help with some craft projects at home in your spare time? See Miss Liz for a take home project. Thank you once again for your wonderful support!

TOMMY JAMES, Wizard Magician will be performing!
With over 30 years of performing experience behind him he has established himself as one of the premier kid-show magicians in the world. His current schedule has him performing 350-400 shows each year all over the New England area.

Sign up for the magic show and the party at the circulation desk or call 508-384-5440.
Program is free but canned-good "muggle food" will be gratefully accepted for the Wrentham Food Pantry.
This program is supported with a grant from the SWEATT FUND.

CONGRATULATIONS to the following Roderick School students for their creative slogans for the Harry Potter Bookmark Contest.  All five winning slogans will be printed on banners with the student’s name and displayed at the party on Feb. 7th.  One slogan will be chosen and printed on 250 bookmarks to be given out at the Harry Potter Party!   These five students won a $5.00 bookstore gift card:

Create your own magical creature out of paper mache or recycled materials (any size welcome!)  Type up a description to display with your creature.  Tell us the name, diet, habits, how to approach and care for the creature, etc.  Use your imagination to create a scary, creepy, or funny one of a kind, magical beast.  All the beasts will be on display at the library for our upcoming HARRY POTTER PARTY on Feb. 7th.
